Fifth Grade Supply List for the 2016-17 School Year
Attention: Parents of new 5th Graders
We thought we would share some information with you ahead of the new school year. We have expectations that are challenging because we are preparing students for the Middle School and beyond.
Backpacks are to be kept in lockers (due to safety reasons they are not to be in classroom)
No locks on lockers
Cell phones are to be powered off during school hours (Handbook policy). If cell phone is found with student during school hours (on or off) Cell phone will be collected and parent must pick up in the office.
Due to privacy issues students should not take photos of other students at school.
Complete assignments on time.
Complete any missed work in a timely manner. (2 missed days—2 days to make up work) If makeup work is not completed the grade becomes a zero.
More than 3 office referrals results in the student not participating in grade level field trip.
Fifth graders are expected to conduct themselves as role models for younger students. The fact is the younger students are watching what the upper grades do. LITTLE EYES ARE WATCHING.
